Shipping Terms

Small Item Shipments

Ground Shipping
Most items weighing under 150 lbs and measuring less than 8 feet in length will ship via ground service through carriers such as FedEx or UPS. No signature is required for delivery. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your invoice and tracking details. If no one is present at the time of delivery, the package will be left at your door.

USPS Mail (Domestic)
Items under four pounds will be sent through USPS, which typically arrives within 3–5 business days.

Freight Shipments

Less Than Truckload (LTL)
Orders weighing more than 150 lbs or measuring over 8 feet in length will ship via LTL freight on a semi-truck. You’ll receive an email on the day your order ships containing your invoice, carrier details, and tracking information. Some products may ship from different locations, so multiple shipments are possible. This does not necessarily indicate a backorder. If an item is backordered, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Delivery Responsibility
The receiver is responsible for accepting and inspecting the shipment. The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment—please ensure you provide an accurate phone number. Someone must be available to meet the driver, inspect the shipment, and sign the delivery receipt. If a shipment is not received within 72 hours of notification, storage fees or return charges may apply.

Inspecting for Damage or Shortage
If you notice visible damage (torn boxes, punctures, etc.) or missing items, accept the shipment but note the issue on the delivery receipt before signing. Do not refuse the shipment, as this will delay resolution.
If the damage or shortage is not recorded on the receipt, we cannot file a claim or send replacements at no cost. In that case, you would need to cover the cost of replacements and file a claim directly with the carrier.
If any damage or shortage occurs, please contact us (info@Vantage-Equestrian.com) within one week of delivery with a list of affected items so we can ship replacements promptly.

Packaging Details

Footing Additives
These products are packaged in large compressed bales stacked up to three bales per pallet. A full pallet weighs roughly 1,500 lbs and is wrapped in stretch film for added stability.

MAG
MAG is packaged in 50 lb bags, with 48 bags per pallet (approximately 2,400 lbs total). Each pallet is tightly wrapped in stretch film to secure the load. MAG is available only by the full pallet.

Freight & Delivery

Freight Carriers
We work with a range of third-party freight carriers for both Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) deliveries. In some cases, a primary carrier may subcontract a smaller regional company to complete the final delivery leg.
We strive to communicate accurate delivery information to both you and the carrier to ensure a smooth process. While we assist in resolving any issues that arise, we cannot be held responsible for actions taken by the carrier or its drivers.

Standard Delivery
Freight drivers are only required to deliver your shipment to the curbside or driveway. They are not obligated to enter your property or unload the materials. If you need special arrangements such as inside delivery or ordering more than 15 bales, please contact us before placing your order to discuss options and obtain a custom delivery quote.

Special Delivery Conditions
If your delivery address has access limitations—such as dirt roads, narrow lanes, or restrictions for 53’ trailers—please notify us in advance so special arrangements can be made.

Offloading Requirements
LTL shipments include lift-gate service to lower pallets to the ground. The receiver is responsible for moving materials from the drop-off point to the arena or storage area.
Orders exceeding 16,000 lbs ship via FTL and do not include lift-gate service. You must have equipment on site to offload. Additionally, arena drags wider than 72" require customer-provided offloading equipment.

Shipping Timeline

Unless otherwise noted, most shipments arrive within 1–2 weeks of placing your order. Weather, carrier capacity, or other unforeseen factors may occasionally cause delays outside our control.
The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment once the shipment reaches your nearest terminal. Please ensure someone is present to receive and sign for the order. We have no control over carrier scheduling or delays once the shipment leaves our facility.

Damaged or Missing Items

Upon delivery, carefully inspect your shipment. If anything is missing or damaged, note it on the carrier’s Proof of Delivery (POD) and take photos of the affected areas. Notify us at Info@Vantage-Equestrian.com within 3 days so we can help file a claim and send replacements as needed.

Disclaimer

We make every effort to coordinate a smooth and timely delivery and to assist in resolving any issues that arise. However, we cannot be held responsible for the actions, delays, or damages caused by freight carriers or their drivers.

For any special delivery requirements, questions, or concerns, please reach out to us at Info@Vantage-Equestrian.com, and we’ll be happy to help find the best solution.
