Vantage Equestrian was built on a simple idea: customers deserve footing solutions they can trust. Our approach combines engineering discipline with real‑world arena experience to remove the guesswork that has long defined this industry. Every product and recommendation is grounded in clarity, consistency, and long‑term performance.

Our Team

Tom Marsh

Tom created Vantage Equestrian with a simple belief: riders and builders deserve footing and arena solutions that are engineered with the same rigor and clarity found in high‑performance industries. With more than 20 years of engineering and product‑development experience, Tom brings a level of discipline, testing, and long‑term thinking that directly shapes how Vantage approaches every arena project.

Tom also spent more than six years running a successful equestrian footing business, working directly with riders, facility owners, and professional arena builders across the country. Through that work, he saw firsthand how confusing, inconsistent, and opaque the arena‑footing industry can be. Too many customers were left guessing, overspending, or ending up with surfaces that didn’t perform.

Vantage Equestrian was created to change that.

With a foundation in engineering discipline and real‑world arena experience, Tom built Vantage to deliver footing and equipment that riders can trust, builders can rely on, and facilities can maintain with confidence

Travis May

Travis has spent more than 15 years in engineering roles focused on product development, process improvement, and building systems that deliver consistent, measurable results. His work has always centered on one question: how does it work, and how can it work better?

Much of his career involved testing products directly with end users, validating performance through real‑world use rather than controlled environments alone. That experience shaped his belief that true reliability is proven where it matters most — in the hands of the people who depend on it every day.

At Vantage Equestrian, he brings that same discipline to every step of the footing process. From evaluating sand and sourcing materials to refining logistics and guiding customers through installation and long‑term maintenance, Travis applies engineering rigor and a commitment to continuous improvement.

He’s especially passionate about making high‑quality footing accessible to everyday riders, and believes transparency and education are essential to helping customers make confident, informed decisions. Outside of Vantage, he’s an avid outdoor enthusiast who values performance‑driven environments — a perspective that reinforces his belief that the spaces we build directly influence how we perform within them
